Myself and UFD, both old and new members, send their condolences out to friends and family of 'The One'. He was a good regular on our servers, and was always friendly and jolly. I got on well with him and I am sad to hear of his death.

I hope everyone, like myself, remember him as a fun loving player and a friend of UFD.

Congratulations to Wolverine for winning this seasons UFD CSS Knockout Grand Prix by a whopping 24pts. Well done also to Zatoichi and Capa for coming in 2nd and 3rd.

Dust2 T Tactics - Fake-A

The Fake A is simply a decoy for the bomb planter to get to the bombsite. The sole bomber goes to B and waits outside the tunnels while the rest go to BS-A and make as much noise as possible. This will hopefully send the CT's in bombsite B out to back up their team-mates, making it clear for the bomber to plant. The bomber MUST be completely quiet while outside the tunnels or the tactic will not work. Once the bomb is down the others must make their way as quickly as possible to the bombsite. This could open up a chance to flank the enemy.

Congratulations to UFD|Capa for winning the first UFD Open Knock-Out Tournament. It had a good turnout with 24 players taking part.

The tournament was held over 2 stages, with the the first stage comprising 2 knockouts on 2 servers. With the 6 players remaining on each server going through to the next round. The first server had 9 non-UFD players, and the second server had 14 UFD players.

New TeamSpeak2 Server and Website Block

We now have a new TeamSpeak server up and running. See Server Info Block or forum for details. There is also a TS2 block on the website showing who is online in the TS2 server.

Dust2 T Tactics - Hold T Spawn

This Tactic will only be used if we have money for good weapons. It is fairly straight forward. We smoke A-Long and in B tunnels from T spawn leaving them unsure where we are. If the CT's are patient, this may not work as well, so it depends on the opposition to decide if we use this tactic or not.
